Review on 🔌 UL Listed 24VAC Plug-in Transformer with PTC Fuse, 40 VA AC Compatible for Ring Nest Doorbell by Chris Cruz

Ring Pro died after 45 days - No support due to using "plug-in transformer" instead of "transformer". They state that using a plug-in transformer other than a toroidal transformer will invalidate support. They only list 24VAC 40VA which is what I bought. The support tried to tell me that the plug-in transformer is not a transformer?!?! In the end they said they would replace the device but are canceling all future support for it! What nonsense is this. This plug-in transformer, while recommended by Revain, is listed as compatible. I'm sure it's not a problem. However, this will void the warranty on the rings!
