I bought 4 sets and all failed
I bought 4 boxes from a local store. I installed them about 3 weeks before Christmas and kept them on for about 6 hours a day. After two weeks all 4 sets were partially out of service (some sections of each completely dead). In fact, this happens every year. The only reason I kept buying them is because they're bright and look great, but I'm tired of investing in a product that doesn't last a few weeks. The temperatures were around 50 during the day and around 30 at night, with no snow and some rain. There is no excuse for that.
