No silicone or rubber but I think it might be TPE. In any case, it is thin and light and very comfortable to hold in hand. Oh, finally found a mention of it in one of the listing's drawings. Apparently rubber. Speaking of the website, I can't find anywhere what country the company is in, but you can set your currency to US, Canada, UK and Euro. This item is not in the shop on their website. I would have preferred a shrouded divider so they don't rub against each other, but it's a strong shroud that protects them (and everyone) in general. I appreciate the very durable stencils. . They can also be tightly coupled to form larger targets. They are lighter than usual. As a prepper, I'm interested in safety. I'm not interested in competitions or anything like that. The lighter ax is easier to hold for long periods of time when needed and more comfortable than the raw metal most of my other axes are made of. They're light enough that I'm considering putting them in my bag. At least in my emergency bag. Very good balance. Solid 4 stars. With a sheath divider and where they were made it would have been 5 stars.
