Review on 🐾 Elegant Blue Velvet Bag Medium Animal Cremation Urn – Forever in Harmony: Honoring and Remembering Your Beloved Pet, Dogs and Cats by Heather Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice but maybe a bit overpriced

This container is a good product although it has some flaws. I tell you what they are and you decide. The urn is cast from some sort of metal, I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like cast iron. Everything appears to be cast at the same time, meaning the screw cap and lip are cast rather than machined. The threads are unstable, rough and do not withstand repeated opening and closing. The paw prints on the front aren't very clear, although that could be more of a styling issue than poor workmanship. You look good enough. Coverage (blue) was good, if somewhat inconsistent. There are some odd bumps and bulges on the inside, some of which are pretty sharp. I crushed them, but if you don't you might see something that would rip open the plastic bag of ash. However, it is still a nice place to store ashes. I have a bag from a poodle and a yorkie, they both fit in. I got mine for free testing, so I'm very satisfied. If I paid $35 as advertised, I might think I got less than what I paid for, but I'd keep it anyway.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Something different
