For such a tight garment,this doesn't really hold your belly in very much. However, it does keep the flabbiness smoothed out. I thought maybe that a size smaller might help with the belly better, but there is I way I could ever get one that size over my shoulders. I bought the tank and think that a t-short would be near impossible to put on.I will wear it to a wedding next week and expect that it will help keep the lines straight under my dress shirt. Not sure it really does anything to correct my posture.
