Review on 🍲 Crock-Pot 4-Quart Manual Slow Cooker, Black: Effortless Cooking and Time-saving Convenience by Anthony Shields

Cooks well but needs a power indicator

I have a more expensive slow cooker with all the digital bells and whistles from another manufacturer. However, after using both a few times, I pull this one out. It just cooks better. I don't know if the other slow cooker just cooks "too hot" or what the difference is, but the food tastes better when it comes out of the slow cooker. My only complaint is that I wish it had a power indicator so you know it's actually on. One day I put food in the slow cooker and flipped the switch to the down position. I was very busy and multitasking that day and after about 2 hours I found that even though I had it turned on, it wasn't connected to the network! If the multi-cooker had an indicator light, I probably would have noticed it immediately. Also, I had another multi cooker from a different brand and the light was on. A few hours later I walked by and the lights were off. The slow cooker is dead. It was soon enough for me to save food. So when I'm using this slow cooker, I check it every few hours to make sure it's still on.
