DO NOT buy. The kitchen almost caught fire! We've only had him for almost 2 months. I prepared the pop tart, turned the dial to two, and began to spread out the groceries. I was distracted by the spilled liquid in the fridge and didn't realize I had never heard the toaster run. After about 6-8 minutes I smelled burnt and turned to see smoke coming out of the top of the toaster. It was still on! The heating element is still a bright orange and black brick with glaze bubbles. I ripped the cable out of the wall and luckily ran outside before any major damage was done. Now that this has happened, I realize that a few weeks ago I noticed signs that it wasn't working properly but blamed my frozen waffles for having too much ice. Because of the uneven cooking, they're raw on the bottom and chewy on top.
