I will confess I took my daughter a size up so she could grow up in it instead of buying a new pair every year it seems. She liked it a lot, it was better to use them around the ranch as her mother didn't like her wrecking a new set of wagons every week. While I understand it's a "western boot" it could use a bit of traction with the sole, it slides in different directions in the mud, but it's fun to look at.
