VHS player good DVD player not so good
In short I ordered this for reasons everyone has but have already returned it and am considering another purchase. I've always had good luck with Panasonic products in the past, so I didn't hesitate to try this one. The VHS player seemed great, but the DVD player got stuck in a scene for no apparent reason on brand new DVDs and you had to turn it off and the best you could do was start over. He sometimes claimed that a freshly opened DVD is "dirty" when you can't even restart it from the beginning, as is often the case. The unwanted freezes happened every 5-20 minutes and got annoying quickly.
