Useful but not perfect

I love this product and have bought several sets and individual tubes. Cons: 1. It may take a lot of experimentation to get a color match. Buy white, black, etc. so you can mix them.2. Even if you shuffle a bundle, it seems like it magically disappears onto the shuffle board so you don't end up with one.3. The product shrinks A LOT when placed in the gap you fill, resulting in more steps. "Lather, rinse, repeat." 4. The product is VERY shiny. If you're hoping for a repair that blends well and is less noticeable, this product may not meet your needs. Because it's sooooo shiny, it reflects light a lot more than most tiles, making your repaired areas stand out like a thumbnail. The manufacturer suggests running your finger over the repair to dull the finish a bit, but I didn't find any noticeable difference. A note to the manufacturer (and apologies if it exists, but I missed it): most of us fix chipped floor tiles, which almost never have a super shine like bathroom tile. It would be great if you could create a matte version of this product.5. The product will be very sticky once it dries on you, so have alcohol wipes handy. They are good at removing it from hands and hoses.6. Be careful with the heat gun while drying this product. I've had decent success with floor tiles, but when trying to fill some voids in the epoxy floor at our animal rescue center, the heat gun completely yellowed the epoxy and/or varnish, making the area look much worse than before. They say it takes two minutes to dry the repair, but I say you should lower the temperature a bit and spend more than two minutes on it. Having said that, I still recommend this product, but I want you to start the process with your eyes wide open.
