Review on πŸ”‘ Enhanced Key Fob Shell for Honda Accord Civic CR-V & More (Blade Swap-Compatible) by Joshua Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

From 450 to 14 dollars!

My husband called the Honda dealer to find out how much it would cost to replace a broken key fob. One broke a long time ago and we never used it again. The other one just broke and part of the key fell out. It was difficult to open the doors and start the car. We had to do something about it! I'm not the type to spend hundreds of dollars knowing there has to be a more affordable solution. I connected to Revain, looked at the keychains and here they are! I purchased this item for just over $9 including tax and the batteries for just over $4 including tax. We used the video posted for the installation which was very helpful. There is no Honda symbol on the keyrings, but who cares?! One of the tips in the video was to keep the little chip. If you don't, your keys won't work. You have to pay the retail price. This small chip connects your key to your car. Some information that our chips did not fall out. They stayed in the building. We pulled out the little case that contained all the important parts, put it in the new key fob, added the battery and we were done. It was so easy. The kit comes with everything you need, including small screws and a screwdriver. I am very happy with the quality of the product and that it has saved me hundreds of dollars! Now we have 2 working keychains. This has been happening for many years since our car is 15 years old!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
