I shared my VR headset (Quest) with my 17 year old son. One day I came home from work and found that one of the headphone wires was broken. They're pretty thin so I'm not surprised. If you are careful with that then I don't think it will be a problem (but if you have kids it will be). The sound was good, but it was a little annoying having to put them in your ear (mostly one at a time) and then you're practically deaf and blind to what's going on around you. After one of them broke I just started using the Quest without having a good one and the built in speakers in the Quest are fine with me. I can really easily communicate with other people who happen to be nearby and continue playing my game.
