Before installing the shower head I removed the water regulator (an easy task). The installation itself was easy too. The shower head worked pretty well and lasted a year (almost a day!) and then during a regular shower the plastic connector that connects the shower head to the pipe snapped and broke. This was an odd mistake as the shower head was in the holder at the time - no pushing, no movement - just the pressure of the water flowing through the shower head. The showerhead itself hadn't even received special treatment in the year before it failed; just issued. I recommend buying a shower head with a metal arm or pairing this shower head with a metal arm purchased separately to avoid this problem.
