I bought this shaft to replace the stock shaft on my Katana KAT-001 cue after playing with a few carbon shafted cues from my teammates (all Cuetec Cynergy shafts) had shot. ). It took me about 30 minutes on the practice table to get used to the difference, but I noticed an improvement in my accuracy, cue ball placement, and win rate. I've heard that some people have a hard time adapting to carbon fiber shafts, but for me the transition was quick and easy. I keep a stick in my case in case something bad happens, but I don't plan on using it again as long as the Cynergy has a tip and is intact.
