I wanted to take a kabuki brush with me for the trip and it definitely suits me. These brushes are similar to the Tarte and Mac 167SH brushes (pictured) but are definitely not replicas if that's what you're looking for. For the liquid foundation I used a flat brush and then, as usual, smoothed out any lines left by the bristles of the brush with a beauty blender. It is very soft and not too compact. I used a round powder brush. Both can be applied very well, almost without crumbling. Leaves a pleasant airbrush effect on the skin. All in all I would definitely recommend these brushes. I've had them for about a week now and they work great. I hope they last, but time will tell!
