Review on Blue Yeti Pop Filter Eliminates by Annie Thornton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works but just as cheap as the other options

This thing fell apart on the plastic seams after you removed the packaging by simply trimming the edges to carefully pry open. The quality of this filter is no different than other MUCH cheaper pop filters that may not fall apart out of the box. as expected, the metal arm always yielded slightly after positioning. I've used a basic Yeti top cap that I have and it works beautifully, dare I say, even better than this and the positives are I don't have to position or worry about my hand and it's smaller in mine line of sight / less equipment. TLDR: Does what it's supposed to do sonically, and the metal arm is fairly stiff to keep its position normal when mounted. I think a real microphone body is the best and cheapest choice.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No performance
