I am a K-9 handler who works with quality large breed dogs, so I use quality food. This Orijen is a very, very rich dog food, in my opinion too rich and many dogs cannot tolerate it. I have tried this food 3 times over the course of 7 years with 3 different dogs, each introduced at 2-3 months of age. Each time this feed was introduced very gradually, at a rate of about 20% every three days, until it reached 100% after about 10 days. In each period, increasing every three days, the story was the same, there was a severe absence of stool. Just tried again with a new puppy, 6 months old and the story is the same... very soft stools, runny. It's either too rich or not a very good combination of ingredients. At over $90 a bag it's not worth risking my dogs growth quality. There are better brands of large breeds, I'll stick with them.
