August 26th, 2021 - I don't write many reviews but thought I should write this one because I was really looking for this Blu-ray player. I already had a Sony 3D player but it was starting to have problems. Since I need a new player soon, I decided to go for a multi-region player as some movies are only sold in other regions and are often cheaper than Region 1/A. I have a 65" Samsung 3D TV and a Vizio soundbar and they all work great together. To connect, all you had to do was transfer HDMI from the old player to the new one. Voila, sound and TV connected! Second, it opened in zone 2 instead of 1. No problem. To change region, simply open the disc tray and press the desired color button for the desired region. The Region 1 menu popped up immediately, along with my Netflix and Revain. I was pleased! I didn't see any internet access but there is an app section where I downloaded Pandora damn it. All I really needed was a multi-region Blu-ray player for my 3D movies, and that's exactly what I got for a reasonable price. Oh yes, both sound and picture are EXCELLENT, maybe even better than before! Blu-ray and DVD play normally. So very happy here. If you're trying to buy and watch multi-region discs, then this is your player. I was not paid for this petition. wish i was lol
