Does what it should.

Haven't used threads or needles yet, but looks like they'll do if needed. My only problem with the hole punch is that the plates slide off too easily when used to punch holes. There's no locking mechanism, it just slides in and out, which is frustrating having to put it back into the grip after each hole is punched.
