I know there is another use for the Wand Massager but I actually like using it on the back of my head and base of my shoulders. I have a massage gun but it is too powerful to use there even on the lightest setting. This wand massager from POMFW is great for the place... the slowest speed is quite powerful so it has good power. The buttons are slightly raised and should only be pressed briefly. Not long presses like some other wands. The head and body are made of silicone, except for the silver plastic cover on the bottom. The stick is made in China. When unpacking, I didn't notice any chemical or other smells. The wand comes in a plain black storage pouch. I don't like the magnetic charging cable. The magnets on the charging head stick to the stick, but I need to check and make sure they didn't move when I put the charging stick on. I would prefer a generic cable just in case the cable wears out before the wand.
