Review on Expandable Ibera PakRak Trunk Bag With 2-In-1 Panniers, Quick Release Clip-On Design, And Detachable Shoulder Strap For Commuter Bikes by Lawrence George

Nice trunk bag - my new review

Overall I've been quite happy with the trunk bag. I started with one of ibera's panniers but got anoyed having it hanging off the side on my daily commute. Its alot more of a pain to get through a doorway with that sticking off the side. So I went and got this trunk bag and it works out alot better. Still plenty of room to bring my lunch and a change of cloths for work. I've not had the zipper issues some reviewers have had but time will tell I guessIf I could change one thing however I'd ditch the mesh pocket inside the main compartment an make the floor of the top compartment a zippered flap. I dont find the mesh compartment adds anything of value but would love to be able to expand the main compartment into the top compartment if I need to bring something just slightly too big for the main compartment.

Pros
  • Quick-release clip-on design: the PakRak bag can be attached and removed from your bike in seconds, making it easy to switch between commuting and leisure modes
Cons
  • The bag may not be large enough to accommodate all necessary items for longer commutes
