Double check that you have the rc71 before programming it.

I got the rc73 not the rc71 as ordered so it is misprogrammed for the volume control and some other functions so we still use it The old remote control, to perform these functions and the new remote control to change the channel, basically now it just added another remote control for us. So it was a big waste
