I'm a big golfer and have been experimenting with different compression golf balls all summer. Most people buy golf balls without even thinking about compression. It sounds strange, but the less compression, the further the sound goes. For example, this ball has a compression ratio of 60 and the Titleist Pro V1 has a compression ratio of about 100, so theoretically this ball will fly further than the Pro V1 due to the lower compression ratio. If you swing from moderate to brutal mode and are a good/excellent player go for the Pro V1 and its 100 compression, if you are older or slow swing or just not that good swing this ball is for you . This is the cheapest option with the best durability and you will hit further than most balls. If you're a super geek, remember that you win from distance with a lower compression ball that kills you in terms of spin. Even a big player will see these balls fly across the green without getting bitten. This ball consistently rolled 15 yards (and often out of bounds) after hitting the green multiple times with a wedge gap, compared to 3-5 yards on the Pro V1.
