This thing saved me! We had a fruit fly problem that got out of control. I was starting to feel like a pigsty with little devils flying around my head. I'm sure my co-workers thought I was crazy when I called the zoom, punched through the air, and had a fit when one of the little baddies flew in the nose. We emptied the compost bin regularly and did not store old fruit and vegetables. Outside. I've tried liquid traps (homemade and store bought) but they weren't very effective. I bought a couple of sticky traps and they actually worked pretty well. Unfortunately, my relief was short-lived as my friend thought slow death was brutal. Bless his sweet sensitive heart 🙄. Enter this glorious zapper. Mesmerized by the light, tiny devils (and skeeters) are drawn closer and closer until ZAP! 🪰💀 I can't express the joy it brings every time I hear the crack of death. Although the frequency of clicks and pops has decreased after the first day, the joy and satisfaction I feel every time I hear this has evaporated. With my friend everyone gets an A from the windmill. So yes, I highly recommend it. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. Clicks and pops aren't very loud, but they are definitely audible. I still love them because they're the sound of those demons being sent straight back to hell.
