I would never give a 5 star review lightly. If I really don't like what I'm reviewing. My skin is extremely sensitive and delicate. I also have a severe latex allergy. I have used bandages that claim to be latex free and within five minutes or less my skin starts to itch and eventually burn. As in a very red beet color. I have a wound that needs bandages. I used them with some apprehension. They were very easy to extract from individual packages. It was a pleasant relief. I applied a small amount of organic aloe vera gel to the pad and bandaged the wound. Then I waited to see if there would be a skin reaction. I've been using them since I bought them and haven't had any problems. So even with skin like mine they are excellent. The glue is perfect. I had to change the bandage several times. I literally held my breath the first time because it hurt so much to remove the patches. Not this time. Walked away easily. No cries of pain. Even after multiple applications, the adhesion was strong. My wound sometimes bled, so I was concerned that the small bandage would not absorb it well. I was impressed to see the pads do their job every time. But on the other hand, it's the Curad bandages that are excellent.
