Review on 🎤 Sony ICD-AX412: Your Ultimate Stereo Digital Voice Recorder by Robert Wood

I'm a journalist who depends on my records. In the field, this Sony just works. My interview topics always sound crystal clear. The built in stand is perfect and one of the most ingenious ideas I have ever seen in a voice recorder. The biggest advantage of this voice recorder is the battery life. I'm a heavy user and I record hours of interviews per week. I was amazed that the batteries lasted all summer. After four months of use, the power meter still showed a bar. I could probably use it for a few more weeks but decided to change the batteries just in case. I use the Sony ICD-AX712 for more important recordings (because of the editing capabilities for WAV files), but MP3 files from this unit have been used on radio shows and numerous podcasts with excellent results. If you're looking for a recorder that won't let you down in the field, this is it. The only reason I can't give it five stars is that on my particular device, the battery cover comes off fairly easily. I use a piece of tape to secure the door.
