After reading the reviews I chose the RG as there were mostly good reviews. I'm here to tell you that I'm another satisfied customer. The antenna is well built and the push-type F-connectors (as opposed to traditional screw-type connectors) are strong and solid and are much easier to plug in and out. The antenna itself has a nice look and is not too "ugly" or out of place for my taste. The antenna stand is sturdy and makes it easy to place the antenna on a shelf. I'll admit I wasn't impressed at first as the performance was no better than a similar much cheaper antenna I've bought before. The channels were still weak and out of service despite being less than twenty miles from most TV stations in our area. I have reported this to RG Technical Support. They were very quick and responsive and suggested I try different configurations. When they stopped working, RG offered to send me a signal booster for free. When he arrived there was a profound difference. Each channel showed 4-5 on the TV signal level meter. Judging by the rough terrain between the broadcast sites and my house, the antenna just needed some boost from the amplifier. And this amp really works, unlike the one that came with my cheaper antenna. Overall RG makes a very good product and the technical support has been fantastic. They really did a great job and I thank them for saving me the time and money to install an external antenna. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
