I was trying to save some money and bought these fake replacement brushes for my electric toothbrush. It looks like a real brush but you can tell it's not the original because it's cheaply made. The dimensional tolerances are not the best and sometimes it is difficult to fit the small plastic ring on the brush or the brush itself on the toothbrush. It doesn't matter, but it still works. Brushes tend to shed their strands easily, which is annoying and less effective. However, what makes this product so bad is that I brush my teeth thoroughly twice a day and floss every night. I go to the dentist every 6 months for a check-up and cleaning. Despite all that, after a few months of use, I noticed noticeable staining on mine. At first I blamed it on soda and coffee, but I found it an odd coincidence. I went back to manual brushing while waiting for the original replacement brushes for my OralB. Within a few days, the spots began to disappear. I've been using my OralB with the original brushes for over a month now and the stains are completely gone. I am convinced that if I continued to use this poorly made product, the discoloration would be irreversible.
