, I needed a Variac for circuit troubleshooting and it fits the bill - you can't beat the price, the performance was just what I needed, and it arrived quickly and well packaged, which is important when considering how heavy they are. I particularly liked the digital voltage display instead of the analog display. The first thing I did out of the box was benchmark the calibration and output with both a digital and analog voltmeter, and while it wasn't absolutely perfect, the product I got was within a volt or so to be on money. Of course, if you want lab precision, you can always spend a few hundred dollars more and get it. Also remember that the dial shows a percentage of the total power, NOT the voltage. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and the seller and recommend it to others.
