I've been using Gunnar for a long time, I've had 6-7 pairs over the years. 16 hours a day. These new lenses are AMAZING. They have a much bolder, more defined hue that takes a little getting used to, but my eyes compensate for that quite well. I never take them off. They work really well as lightweight sunglasses, especially when you're looking at a lot of screens from the outside. They have everything that makes regular amber lenses great, but they're just stronger. decided to (still) frame them. The Intercepts have cheap plastic frames (not necessarily a bad thing, they're very comfortable and have very large lenses, which I like) but the way they position the lenses on my eyes makes the optical center way too low and causes terrible eye strain. after long hours. More than ordinary amber. The fact that these are the ONLY frames that can get an amber high and there is no adjustable bridge is really annoying. I bought some nose pads which seem to help a bit (they really should be in the box, they're about $0.50 a pair), but I would have preferred these lenses in other, more adjustable frames.
