I bought this after seeing some reviews on YouTube. I was thrilled to get an ultra wide angle at such a low price that people were really raving about it. What I received was a very cheap lens that ended up being contaminated with fine dust particles. I used the lens for about a year before it became almost unusable. First, it took me about 100 shots to realize that the "infinity" depth of focus on the ring is off by about 2mm. So to get REALLY deep focus I have to turn the ring all the way and then turn it back about 2mm, more or less. Because of this, I lost many photos from my trip to Zion. In addition, over time, fine dust particles seeped into the lens and left smudges on all my photos. At first it was easy to turn up the contrast in Lightroom and just edit them, but now there are so many of them it's just not worth using the lens at all. And yes, I keep the lens in my camera bag with the correct caps on both sides when not in use. So yes, look in awe at the photos on this review page. They are amazing. I've even taken some great photos with this lens. But in the end you get what you pay for. It's a cheap lens with cheap build quality, and you'll use it for a year before it wears out enough that its only function is as a paperweight.
