Review on 🔌 Metra 70-2021 Amplifier Integration Harness for Chevrolet Impala/Monte Carlo 2000-2001 by Kevin Woods

I ordered this Metra Amp Integration Wiring Harness after reading one of the reviews on this product from another Chevy Suburban owner. I wanted to bypass the factory amp after installing an aftermarket radio and replacing all the speakers. The product reviews included instructions on how to change the pinout to make it work with my application. (Thanks for posting!) The wiring harness did exactly what I wanted and my speakers sound way better when powered by my secondary radio amp. NOTE: This method eliminates sound from the rear cargo area speakers and the factory subwoofer. This didn't bother me because I'm replacing the factory subwoofer and using a new one from another amp I have. Case in point, if you are looking to replace the factory subwoofer in a Suburban/Yukon XL, I have found the Kicker CompRT 43CWRT82 8" 2 ohm DVC subwoofer to be a great replacement. The top mount depth is only 2-11/16 in. that fits nicely in the factory box.
