Gorgeous color! suitable for hair dye

Ok, I just dried my hair after coloring it with Perfect10 Dark Auburn. WOW! I love this color and shine! My hair is naturally quite light brown and thin, although I have a lot of it; I stress and recently I have been salon colored for the last 10 years; I am 38 years old and have a small amount of white streaks. The huge salon price and the fact that each of my friends gets their own color made me think about painting at home. Since I'm training for a marathon in September and running and training so much with swimming, I really wanted to at least try this cheaper option in the summer. So glad I did! While this color doesn't last as long as it does in the salon (and that's around 2 months on average since my stylist uses a semi-permanent color that fades for a more natural regrowth), it still saves me a pack over time one year. This product is ridiculously easy to use. I gave up the 48 hour test as I don't have sensitive skin. I just washed my hair in the evening without styling products and dyed it the next morning. Followed the instructions and did everything for the app. Set my timer for 10 minutes. Rinse until the water runs clear. I applied the conditioner for two minutes. Voila! All that nasty white hair is covered and my hair really does look like I just got out of the salon (minus the amazing haircut of course). And the smell is wonderful! I think my color is even prettier than the lady in the box. Soft and shiny! I don't know what I'm going to say to my poor stylist the next time I get a haircut. I hope she understands. I definitely encourage anyone on the fence to give it a try! If that doesn't work, your salon can probably salvage it all. I'll update this review later with the duration of the color (I shampoo every day so probably not as long as other women). So it's been 5 weeks. My temples are gray and something is growing on my scalp. I think 5 weeks is a decent amount of time for such a cheap product. In the last 5 weeks I have noticed a general fading to the point that my dark chestnut shade has become much lighter. But don't worry, it's summer!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
