Review on ๐Ÿš˜ Dorman 911-753 Throttle Position Sensor: Compatible with Acura / Honda Models for Optimum Performance by Victor Shepherd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

what was bad with a officeclip and multimeter from youtube

Honda CRV 1999 Code P0122 Throttle Position Sensor. The car idled and stalled a bit on the first start. I checked the old sensor that was faulty using a paper clip and a multimeter from YouTube. The dealer wanted to sell a complete throttle body that costs over $400. Bought this sensor from Revain and it looks very similar to the old one. Supplied with new fasteners, washers and tension adjustment instructions. Put it on and it works like a charm. Use the same paperclip and multimeter method to set as instructed. Good throttle response and the check engine light no longer lights up. Use a small chisel and hammer method on the outer washer to remove the bolts without removing the throttle body. The top screw is easy, but you can remove the bottom one with an anti-firewall mirror and some patience to remove the bottom one.

Pros

Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
