4-hit Keurig was damaged. As a result, a beautiful hole was formed at the bottom of the fine mesh filter. Basically my filter is useless now and I lost $18. So now that I know this kit replaces not just the cup but the entire body for the k cup. You must detach the existing inner cup body and insert the body provided and ONLY THEN you can go in and use the filter body provided to use your own ground coffee. If you want to go back to a pre-packaged cup, it's time to replace it. Basically it's a conversion kit. Meet some models.
