Review on πŸ“» Kaito KA346: Multi-Powered Emergency Radio with Alarm Clock, Weather Alert, Flashlight, USB Charger, and MP3 Player by Robert Hoge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great emergency radio, NOAA range and MP3 playback is a must.

The Kaito KA346 is the perfect emergency radio. A flashlight to let you know where you are, a radio to tell you where to go, and MP3 playback to keep you entertained when you're out of power or stuck somewhere without internet or TV. The radio comes with instructions in English which is nice to have. I have created a more detailed video review which can be found on YouTube. Just search for the product and my username. The main feature that caught my attention was the MP3 playback capability. When I'm stuck on a radio, I want it to be able to help, inform, and entertain. Imagine you're stuck in an emergency shelter for a week until the floodwaters recede, all you have is your radio. With an MP3 player, you can now entertain yourself and others to keep you in a good mood. I love classic radio shows and would fill a micro SD card with it. Now I have a few days of programming to share. Perfect! What I like best about this radio: * Side-lit LCD display. * Time and alarm functions. * Sleep timer. * Easy band selection and radio tuning. * Torch. * MP3 playback. * Internal battery. * Extra AA batteries to power clock and radio * Strap is well made and functional * Sound quality is good * Reception on all bands is fantastic. The charging indicator only works when the internal batteries are being charged via the USB cable.* Jog function during MP3 playback.* Random/loop function during MP3 playback. All in all, this radio is the perfect combination of emergency radio and entertainment device. All the features I look for in an emergency radio are here, and MP3 playback is the icing on the cake.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
