Admittedly I've only used this for one project (used 2 silver rings for the shield) but I've looked at all the hardware, here are my impressions: Some of the hardware is a bit rough around the edges where they were punched, nothing that might cut or hurt you but it's worth mentioning. The D-rings I used as signs worked great, but I would be careful not to over-tighten them because they will warp. But let's be honest, I bought this set because I needed options for future projects and didn't want to pay a high price for the hardware. For that it works perfectly.
