Alarms appear to be well made and durable. Haven't tested it at night yet but it's quite bright. I also like that they are magnetic. The flashlight function is very smart. The small storage bag makes a well-made impression. I recommend adding some sort of tab marker where you need to detach the back to change batteries. There are two screws that need to be removed, but at least the kit includes a small screwdriver that fits in a storage pouch. The tricky part is figuring out how to parse it afterwards. The small protrusions are made of clear plastic and are difficult to see, and even then you have to pull hard on them. I'm sure the hardness helps keep them waterproof so that's fine, but it's just as difficult to align the cleats to that. This is definitely not something you want to do in an emergency, which is why you'll need to change the batteries regularly to keep it working. I plan to draw arrows next to the tabs with nail polish so they can be seen better. I hope that future models will be equipped with solar charging panels and only need batteries as a backup. Or I have a USB plug to charge from a small foldable solar panel on my dashboard. Overall I'm happy with the product and will probably buy more for Christmas gifts.
