This is coated aluminum. Difficult conditions? Probably not, but for attaching parts to plastic they work. I used them to attach the fog light housings to the factory points inside the bumper. Worked great. Doesn `t rust. The hexagonal hole on the head was deep and could not be pulled out. Use some Loctite or paint to make sure they stay in place. The only bad thing I would say is that they arrived forever. weeks. I had to see where they came from first. Good price. I'm glad I put this project on hold - time wasn't an issue for me.
