Nice and cheap - breaks easily

Aluminum screws cannot withstand torque. I broke two and am careful. Feels like a metal pot. The black coating chipped off immediately. The Allen key had plenty of depth and was a joy to use. The clips bent easily and worked great. Here, too, paint and screws break off easily. I've never heard of an aluminum screw and bolt.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Drive socket required

Such a big deal! Suitable for motorcycles and weightlifting

My 2007 Yamaha Apex snowmobile was missing a couple of clips holding the fairings in place. Almost $20 each I looked for other options, I found these and they were direct replacements, you just had to screw them in instead of a quick release. Very happy with the purchase, I'm an L1 master technician so I know how to turn and tighten screws so I don't know why others have had trouble breaking/pulling them if they don't understand proper tightening. They're not designed to actually carry the…

They work great

This is coated aluminum. Difficult conditions? Probably not, but for attaching parts to plastic they work. I used them to attach the fog light housings to the factory points inside the bumper. Worked great. Doesn `t rust. The hexagonal hole on the head was deep and could not be pulled out. Use some Loctite or paint to make sure they stay in place. The only bad thing I would say is that they arrived forever. weeks. I had to see where they came from first. Good price. I'm glad I put this project…

Look elsewhere: Bodywork

First of all they don't fit the Triumph Sprint ST 1050 fairing. The stem is also about a mm long I think. After trying a few parts I decided to replace the clips on the fairings with the ones that came with the kit and then use new fasteners. The mounting bolts are made of metal so soft that four in a row fell off. To illustrate how soft the metal of these fasteners is, I tried to hand thread the locking pin into the fastener, no tools, not on a bike, and this fastener also ripped off…

Cheap and inferior control but worked

QC is bad. Many clamp nuts and corresponding screws do not initially connect to each other. The thread pitch is broken and they are beginning to seize. Some of them are fine. So they're cheap and the quality control isn't great, but might work in a pinch. Once I was sure the bolt was properly aligned in the jam nut. , and I knew from the start that the threads were screwed in correctly. One of the bolts was still shearing because the clamp nut was not tightened properly. So keep in mind quality
