Opening and closing values of the mouthpiece have always been too small and difficult to move. The little lip on the value you rest your thumb on for open/close just finally cracked in half. So the value is fully open and cannot be closed. This means that every time you fill the backpack, the water will overflow from the straw unless you hold it higher than the backpack itself. It also means that during carry every time you lean forward to pick something up from the ground, water flows from the straw. What a mess. In this case, it is better to buy in a regular store. I would take it back and explain what happened in 3 short months and get my money back. If you buy from Revain you will run out of lemons after 30 days. Edited to add: After seeing my review the company got it more than right and I'm ready to go again. Thank you! After such customer service I would use them again. Thanks very much!
