This product has a zoom, so you can zoom in and out with light. It also has a wide scope and a narrow scope. You can adapt it to different situations (e.g. walking in the park or looking under the fridge for something rolled up there). There is also a strobe mode. I'm not sure what you would use this for if you weren't reading morse code to someone across the street, but it's cool nonetheless. It also seems durable. You can drop it and it won't do much damage if you're lucky.
