Review on πŸ”Œ Wireless Audio Receiver Bluetooth 5.0 Power Amplifier 2 Channel Stereo Mini Hi-Fi Integrated Amp 2.0 for Home Speakers Headphone 50W x 2 with USB (Douk Audio Tone, Black) by Kendrick Barron

One problem: he likes to switch off. Otherwise it's like a competition.

Just one problem: he likes to turn off. If this amplifier loses the Bluetooth connection within 30 minutes, it will turn itself off. You need to press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to wake it up before pairing again. That means you can't hide it in a closet or anywhere else. It should be outside where you can press the power button before each use. The vendor says this feature "saves power," but it's fake. I'm an electrical engineer who designs things harder, and I can tell you that any "energy saving" is marketing babble. Sounds like a typical Class D amp. There are dozens of makes and models on the market; They all come from China and all offer amazingly good sound at a great price. In fact, they tend to use the same scheme internally. The differences are mainly in the advertising and packaging. (Some power adapters are better, but the specs are so dishonest that the manufacturer's words can't be trusted. Stereo equipment has been plagued with this problem for decades; it's not unique to this class of product.) If auto-off works for you , then this amp is fine. If not, you have dozens of other options. Update 01/16/2021: The power supply failed, so I emailed Douk Audio Support about the warranty. They responded quickly and sent a power pack. Based on that experience, customer support has been excellent.

Pros
  • Mini size with LED display is very convenient for home and desktop use; The high-quality workmanship of the case and components makes it more durable and attractive.
Cons
  • I don't remember
