Review on 🧼 Glissen Chemical - 300048 Nu-Foamicide EPA Registered All Purpose Cleaner Concentrate (1-Gal), Industrial Commercial Grade - Packaging may Vary by Wayne Girard

Note the effectiveness of diluted mixtures after 24 hours.

I was excited when developing this product. 1 gallon can produce 32 gallons of diluted mix!? Brilliant. Just note that the product label says it's best for me to use a new diluted formula that's made after 24 hours. This is probably because the active chemical ingredients break down and become less effective - it's like a whitening blend. But for those intending to add this to the atomizer, you can make a 1:32 oz atomizer mix 128 times. Obviously, if you decrease the volume of the mixture, you can squeeze more out of a gallon. For example, let's be honest, how many of us are actually going to use a full 32-ounce spray bottle in a day, and how many of us are actually going to make a new mix every 24 hours? Probably we are not many. As for the smell? It's not that strong. Almost lemony in my opinion. How long does the disinfection take? Leave the mixture on a non-porous surface for at least 60 seconds. How long does the disinfection take? Leave on for 10 minutes. The product label also states that surfaces cleaned with such a product should not be rinsed with potable water. Difference between disinfection and disinfection? Disinfection is similar to using hand sanitizer. It can effectively kill/weaken 99.99% of the microbes this product is designed to fight. Disinfection is said to be the absolute destruction of all harmful microbes in the environment that this product comes into contact with. But seriously folks, don't believe me. If you were able to read my review, please read the product label once you receive the product as it is more detailed. UPDATE/EDIT regarding the potency of the mix: Another reviewer pointed out that the mix doesn't need to be overhauled every day. But it really depends on how the label is interpreted. On the label itself, in the "Restaurant and bar sanitizer directions for use" section, it says "Prepare the solution 'at least daily' or if the solution used becomes visibly contaminated." If you also do a quick google search and SunJoe, who is also the distributor of this Glissen product, the FAQ states that the EPA proposes to redesign the solution on a daily basis. I don't have extensive knowledge of chemistry, so whether a mixed solution in an aerosol can still be effective after 24 hours is not up to me.

Pros
  • Epa expects all List N products to kill all strains and variants of Sars-Cov-2. Genetic modifications of the virus do not affect the effectiveness of disinfectants. List N disinfectants that chemically inactivate viruses. The difficulty of eradicating the virus depends on its physical properties, and recent Sars-Cov-2 mutations have not changed the underlying physical properties.
Cons
  • Only available in black
