After living in the Middle East for the past seven years we have finally moved to California (with a couple of Arabic lamps and a Turkish chandelier). I had no idea that the lightbulbs there were different from the American ones. After several trips to Home Depot, where I bought and returned various sized lightbulbs, I read a blog about my problem. The blog author discussed his lamp size issues after he and his wife also bought a Turkish chandelier. He provided a link to the very same page that advertises this product which uses an American bulb and is sized to match the size of an Arabian lamp. Works like a charm! I'm buying a second one today.
