I had to pull this out of the daylight with a saber saw and metal blade to make it work. My plasma mount is very thin, close to a wall mount. The thing protrudes (when installed according to the instructions) a good two to three centimeters behind the television. I had to cut the cable shelf and reverse the vertical brackets. It still didn't fit, but in a fit of frustration I just pulled out the drywall saw and gave myself some extra room behind it (can't see the hole because it's blocked by the speaker and TV). The only thing that's good is that I was able to press the speaker against the bottom of the TV. I don't know why they show it with such a big gap in the photos. Also, I almost overlooked the power plug on the back of the TV. This thing was 1mm from returning.
