Review on 🔧 OEM Wahler 4326.97D: BMW Engine Coolant Thermostat Kit with Housing, Sensor, and Gasket by Russ Charmin

The best thermostat you can get for your E46! I exchanged mine for these because the factory was completely broken. A decent crack had formed in the fuselage, causing it to leak. I had to park my car for a few days but this thermostat does its job and does it well. Maintains the temperature at 96C most of the time unless you are under load and the temperature drops a bit more to keep the engine cool. In my opinion the best thermostat. I also tried the motorcycle thermostat a while back and that thing sucked. Temperatures were typically 102C compared to the Wahler's 96C. I reverted to the original Wahler as I misdiagnosed the problem and the thermostat was fine until the case finally cracked. I would definitely recommend this thermostat to anyone with an E46. I have a 1999 328i.
