So far so good! There was a faint smell of burnt plastic when you first turned it on, but that quickly dissipated. Compared to other replacements I've received ranging from $20-$120, this is way better than all the others. Colors are crisp. Contrast is a bit high but works well when you place the projector. You'll notice a slight drop in Eco mode, but it's still very bright when the lights are off. In general, you are very satisfied with the purchase for the first few days, the update will come in 30 days. The image does not convey the clarity of the image with the bulb itself, but rather shows the depth of color.
