These Futuro compression sleeves are truly unique on the market. They are made of a synthetic material more akin to compression tops and less common in target articulated cuffs. The quality is pretty good, the feel is good and they have all the hallmarks of durability. So I expect to travel many miles from this arm. There are several considerations. It is recommended to take measurements around the elbow joint, but in my case this could be misleading. Starting from my elbow, a small/medium should fit, but it made my lower biceps too tight. I think a larger size would be better for me personally. If you have lower biceps that are much wider than your elbow, you're likely to experience something similar. While good, this sleeve was a lot longer than I expected. Again, this makes it difficult to slide down if the bottom of the bicep feels pinched by the top of the sleeve. It's relatively easy to care for. It is NOT machine washable or tumble dryable. But you can just wash it in the sink and let it air dry. Synthetic materials dry quickly. It is said to help reduce muscle soreness and I can attest to that. They also say it "may help reduce recovery time" and I have no way of verifying that claim, at least not yet. But for the comfort improvement it gives me I'm very satisfied so far.
