For the past few years I have traveled the world on sailboats. I've slept in smelly bunks with old pillows, in horrible hotels with bad pillows, and even used a sail instead of a pillow. I got home and found all my pillows were terrible too. I was reluctant to spend that kind of money, but I also wanted a good night's sleep. My problems: heat and big shoulders. I'm hot, I sleep on my side. Those were the problems I was trying to solve. I didn't want all the junk in some brands' crush gel approach - I liked that they were natural and made in Canada. This pillow is comfortable for the back or side. It's pretty tough but still cracks. I love it.
